STEAM Camp

The Changing Norms STEAM Camp welcomes all inner-city youth, offering a transformative experience that blends hands-on learning, personal development, and community building. Scholars will engage in experiential activities designed to ignite a passion for learning, broaden perspectives, and prepare them for emerging career opportunities in STEM and beyond.

Year-Round Engagement

 

Monthly Topics

Each month, students engage in workshops on topics like College Process Review, Financial Literacy, FAFSA, Scholarships and Internships, Digital Profile Building, and more. These sessions provide critical guidance in preparing for higher education and career pathways.

 

College and Career Pipeline Development

From high school to freshman year in college to post-college, we work with students to ensure they are well-prepared for each transition. Our pipeline includes college visits, mentorship, internship opportunities, and career-readiness support.

 

Year-End Capstone Project

The year-end capstone project provides students with an opportunity to integrate and demonstrate their learning from each monthly topic.

A Day in Life

Offers students the opportunity to speak with career professional who will share what it is like for a day in their work life and share their trajectory and what inspired them to select their career path.
